Getting to Know Gisclair & Associates

10Bob Gisclair has over 30 years experience in vocational rehabilitation field. He is currently self-employed with offices in Lafayette and Baton Rouge, as well as being staffed throughout the state.

Mr. Gisclair obtained his Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. His Bachelor’s Degree is in Psychology and was obtained from Nicholls State University.
Bob is a Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor in the State of Louisiana and is also a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. He is a certified Disability Management Specialist, Certified Case Manager, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Life Care Planner, Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant, and a Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional.

He currently serves on the board for the International Academy of Life Care Planners. He is also a former member of the Licensed Professional Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors Board of Examiners. Before being elected as Chairman of the board in December of 1999, Mr. Gisclair served as Ethics Chair. He is a past board member of the Louisiana Association of Rehabilitation Providers in the Private Sector and has served on various committees at the request of three Governors. He has served as a past volunteer for CASA and currently is a wish granter for the Make A Wish Foundation.
